About Chabad of Kenya
Chabad of Kenya, led by Rabbi Levi and Chaya Mushka Notik, operates under the guidance and inspiration of the Lubavitcher Rebbe – bringing the light of Judaism, warmth, and unity to the heart of Africa.
Our shlichus began in 2023, when we set out for Kenya with our one-year-old son, Meni. Today, together with our three children, we devote ourselves each day to our mission in Nairobi – to connect, inspire, and strengthen every Jew with joy, love, and genuine care.
A Vibrant Jewish Community – in the Heart of Africa
Throughout the year, we work with hundreds of Jewish individuals and families living in Kenya – professionals, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and young families – all coming together to build a warm, united, and thriving Jewish community.
Our activities include:
Jewish holiday events and workshops
Torah classes and learning groups
Women’s circles
Children’s programming
Shabbat and holiday meals
Social evenings and cultural gatherings
All infused with love, joy, and a deep sense of belonging.
